The Hungarian skiff guys had some great sailing on Lake Balaton last weekend for the first ever Liberty Skiff Festival... the guys reported 2 fantastic days of weather with perfect up range big rig racing conditions, but with only the 3 HUN skiffs racing, along with some 49ers and windsurfers.
The pics above shows the strange colour waters of Lake Balaton, and the guys having some great rides... the parties every nite were the main feature of the weekend along with the joy rides for aspiring skiff sailors

Hopefully lots more of the Euro 18s will make the long trek across to Hungary for next years event and experience the great hospitality and perfect weather, let alone the cheap food and beer... me and my guys will definitely be thereTo Miklos and Matyi, well done guys, and nice to see my old skiff still going strong
